The File/Connect dialog remembers hosts you've previously connected to. From this screen you can select the terminal emulation model as well, such as model -2, 3, 4 and 5.

A similar dialog is used when creating desktop shortcuts. Shortcuts allow you to quickly connect to your favorite hosts.
