Quick Keys and Screen TapsQuick KeysQuick Keys allows you to quickly change the display or scroll the screen using simple keystrokes. The following Quick Keys are defined: Font Selection
Scrolling the Display
Open Settings Dialog ALT-P Screen TapsScreen Taps allow you to move the cursor, display the Pop-Up keyboard Toolbar, activate light pen selectable areas, and send AID keys based on onscreen prompts. Move the Cursor TAP the desired cursor location.The cursor will move to the selected location. Light Pen Activation ALT-TAP or DOUBLE-TAP the light-pen selectable area.If the selected location is a light-pen field, the designator character determines the light-pen action. If the pen selectable field does not have a valid designator character, the cursor is moved to the selected location and an AID_ENTER is sent to the host. Interpreted AID keys ALT-TAP or DOUBLE-TAP the prompt that contains a PFKey Number.Interpreted AID text must be in a protected field and look similar to PFK3=Return 8 SCN 10 /SD. When a selection is made, the PFK interpreter looks at the selected location and to the left of the location for a number that represents the desired PFKey. If no number is found to the left, the interpreter scans to the right. Numbers must be between 1 and 24 for PFKeys and between 1 and 3 for PAKeys. All numbers must be within the same field If the letter immediately preceeding the number is an Pop-Up Aid Toolbar TAP "off-screen" or TAP TN3270 ToolTray Icons.The Pop-Up keyboard Toolbar shows all available AID icons even when the command bar is hidden. To display the keyboard toolbar, TAP one of the TN3270 ToolTray Icons, or TAP outside the 3270 text display area.
